Luxury Yacht Events 2021
Now that we’re getting further into the year of 2021, we can look forward to an action-packed event calendar for the latter part of the year. While it started off a bit touch and go, and there will most likely be strict social distancing measures in place for the upcoming shows, we can now look forward to some of the best events around the world to showcase all there is to know and love about owning and chartering a yacht or superyacht.
First on the list at the end of May 2021 is the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show (SCBS), right here on the Sunny Gold Coast in Australia. This is one of the world’s most luxurious and beautiful locations, with its stunning crystal clear water and gorgeous Waterways. Also, has a world-renowned Marina and Marine Refit Facilities making the Gold Coast a premier location for Superyachts. The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show (SCBS) attracting over 45,000 marine enthusiasts each year, it’s an event that looks set to live up to its reputation as the Southern Hemisphere’s premier marine event once again. With over 300 exhibitors and 600 boats on display, you’ll be treated to best-in-class superyachts, fishing boats, trailers, watercraft, marine tech and much more.
The May TYBA Yacht Charter show held in Turkey is one of the first to be held. If you’re in Turkey between 1-4 May, you can enjoy one of the most important charter show events for trade professionals within the yachting industry. There will be approximately 70 luxury yachts with full crews on display and it’s the perfect opportunity to view some spectacular yachts and meet local contacts.
June has the Palma Superyacht show from 3-6 June. Displaying a huge variety of high-performance yachts including triple-decked motor yachts and sleek, high-end cruisers. The benefit of the Palma Superyacht Show is that all superyachts will be available for charter and/or sale immediately, which gives you just enough time to set an itinerary to cruise the waters of the Mediterranean.
One of the most popular shows is back in September. From 7-12 September you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Cannes Yachting Festival while also enjoying all that Cannes itself has to offer. Held in one of the oldest ports on the Cote d’Azur, the itinerary for this prestigious yacht show includes a luxury gallery, boat parade and plenty of VIP Programs to take part in.
And if you’re still in Europe in September, just a short jump to Monaco from 25-25 September will have you enjoying the Monaco Yacht Show. The Monaco Yacht Show will have an impressive and incredible display of superyachts available for purchase or charter, as well as information on technology, tenders, yacht toys and other high-end performance options.
Finally, ending with the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from 27-31 October, you’ll be able to take in an array of exciting new technology, performance cruisers and a huge variety of marine products to make the most of every day on the water. With attendees from yacht builders to brokers, guests and owners alike, this show has everything you may need and much more.
